Joe Rudko is a Seattle-based artist who works primarily with photographs. He reconfigures found photographs to make new forms that encourage viewers to reconsider their relationship with everyday images.

Rudko’s work has been exhibited widely in the United States, including solo exhibitions at PDX Contemporary Art (Portland), Greg Kucera Gallery (Seattle), Von Lintel Gallery (LA), and Davidson Gallery (NYC). Group exhibitions include the Getty Museum, Morgan Library & Museum, Portland Art Museum, and Winston Wachter Fine Art in Seattle. He has participated in residencies at the Wassaic Project, Iris Project, and Vermont Studio Center and has been reviewed in Artforum, Art in America, Juxtapoz, Musee Magazine, and Artillery Magazine. His work can be found in the collections of The Getty Museum, Portland Art Museum, Museum of Fine Arts Houston, and most recently, the Morgan Library & Museum in New York City.
